Mysteries of Moon - Internal Structure - Gravitation - Dark Side of Moon - Journey to The Moon

Mysteries Of Moon :

Moon is the closest neighbour Planet of our Earth. It is the only natural satellite of Earth which enlighten the Earth at night.Moon completes its rotation around the Earth in about 27 Days. We see either full moon, half moon or no moon, because the moon reflects sunlight. The distance of moon from Earth is 38440 Km. Moon is 27% of the total size of the Earth, means more than 1/4th of the size of the earth.

Internal Structure :

If we talk about the internal Structure of the moon,it has a very small core just 1 to 2 % percent of the moon's mass and hardly 680 km wide. It consist of iron, but may also contain sulfur and some other elements.

Atmospheric Conditions :

The moon has very thin atmosphere,So a large,of dust or a footprint can remain undisturbed for centuries. temperature varies at moon. On day time temperature reach 134 Celsius and -153 Celsius on dark side.

Gravitation :

The gravitation pull of the moon cause, rise and fall of the tides in sea levels  high tides results on the side of earth nearest the moon dues to gravity, and it also happens on the side farthest from the moon due to inertia of water. low tides occur between these two homps. the gravitation pull of the moon is also slowing the earth's rotation, the moon,Earth and sun are in a straight line during eclipse.A Lunar eclipse can occur only during a full moon .

Dark Side of Moon :

There are so many mysteries about the dark side of moon, several photographs of dark side of moon have been reported by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration ) claims the suspected movement of aliens. But not sure this is still controversial.

Journey To The Moon :

Man has trying to explore moon since 19th century. In 1959 the Soviet Union sent the first spacecraft to impact the moon's surface and returned the first photographs of its fan side.  The United States also sent astronauts to the moon's orbit and surface in the 1960s and 1970s. In 1969 apollo 11 landed the first astronauts on the moon surface undoubtedly the most famous of NASA's achievements, followed by other successful missions. Neil Armstrong was the first man who landed at the moon's surface.
